June 8th, Day 2

Run Down

This morning, we received an amazing sermon from the vacancy pastor here at Rock of Ages. Afterwards, we prepared for the week. We got our schedules, experiment lists, and the names of the kids we will be working with. We are in for a fun bunch of three girls and nine boys.

We headed over to Kroger's, the Cub Foods of Tennessee, and bought all the lunch supplies we will be needing over the week. Once we got the groceries put away, we made our way to a Sounds baseball game where we met up with more members of the church.

We spent more time at church, getting to know the ladies we will be working with as well as the building. We went right to work whether it was to move tables or to create a coral reef. No matter what, we tackled the job and worked around the issues.

(Coral Reef made from boxes, chairs, brown decorative paper, tissue
paper, packing peanuts, and pool noodles)

After a long day of work and fun, we finally made it home in time to watch a movie and relax.
